ABOUT ME
Hi! I'm Tiffany Paalman, most people just call me Tiff. I'm a sophomore student-athlete on the Women's Volleyball team, double-majoring in Animal Biology and Design Arts while also earning my certificate in Nonprofit Management. I'm most excited to be studying line work in this course as it will be able to applying directly to my internship working as an Exhibit Designer at the Richter Museum of Natural History on campus. I'm open to any form of communication, but like to communicate through email, text, chat, or calls.
My most meaningful memory with art was when I took a trip to the Art Institute of Chicago during my sophomore year of high school. I was drawn to the piece Christ and the Lamb by Jeff Koons. Across from the elaborate work was floor to ceiling windows, reflecting the setting sun off of the fragments of mirror. I spent a while gazing at the piece, but never realized its context and meaning until my second visit there in January of last year. I spent twice as long looking for the abstract figure described and loved how the artist wrote that his work "acknowledges the viewer."
