I believe that my 10-minute drawing is the strongest. In previous drawings, I was really struggling with getting the right proportions of the box to look correct compared to the perspective I was looking at, as well as having proportional and parallel sides. In the 10-minute drawing, I was able to draw some gridlines and use my ruler to better help the proportions of the box. This also helped with the positioning and scale of each of the vases and perfume bottle. The vases are heavily-focused with using cylindrical guidelines to form the object. At 5-minutes, I took a short break and asked my roommate who is an artist to come take a look at my drawings so far. She gave me tips to draw through the objects by creating shapes rather than the specific forms of the vases and boxes. She also reminded me to keep it simple and reduce the amount of details so I can get the basic lines first to best set me up for the final piece.
